Welcome to the Enhancing Communities Lunch Series (ECLS)! ECLS is a program of the Foundation for Enhancing Communities (TFEC), Temple University’s Nonprofit Evaluation Services and Training Program (NEST) and the Nonprofit Resource Network (NRN) at Millersville University. The series offers you a convenient way to learn about important and relevant issues affecting nonprofits while enjoying lunch with your colleagues in the community.

The Enhancing Communities Lunch Series provides more than a chance to passively listen to presentations. We want you to be part of an interactive process of discovering new talents, opportunities and resources in the community – all while making the community more aware of your organization’s work. Each Lunch Series session includes:

•  Lunch and networking

• A call for announcements about upcoming events, training workshops and funding opportunities

• A presentation from a community partner about their agency and services

• A brief workshop on a topic germane to nonprofit capacity building or community-based issues. At specially designed events, the program will include an extended workshop.
  

The lunch itself is just the beginning. This website is designed to become a dynamic community bulletin board to allow Enhancing Communities participants to continue the conversation between sessions. Coming soon to this website will be features such as a community calendar, blogs, public forums, a resource directory and survey polling.
